Issue
Centauri Carbon may show an error message after starting: Errorcode 104, anomaly in reading printhead NTC
Cause
The printer is not getting a valid temperature reading from the thermistor (black wire sensor) that is inserted into a hole at the bottom of the hotend.
This sensor tells the printer how hot the nozzle assembly is, so it can control the power delivery to the heating element. The thermistor may be accidentally unplugged or its wires damaged if you handle the hotend roughly, or it may fail in normal use.
Fix
Make sure the printer is powered off and cooled down.
Lift off the magnetic fan cover, and undo the two 2.5mm bolts holding the hotend in
Pull out the hotend, check the thermistor is plugged-in and the black wires are intact
If damaged, or plugged-in-but-appears-undamaged, replace it with 001770 - see here
Reinstall the hotend and the fan cover
Power the printer back on, and if the errorcode does not appear, you are done
If the errorcode is still there:
Turn the printer off.
Replace the heater interface board 001769 - see here
Power the printer back on, and if the errorcode does not appear, you are done
If the errorcode is still there:
Turn the printer off.
Replace the hotend PCB 001768 - see here
Power the printer back on, and if the errorcode does not appear, you are done
