Our plugpacks come with a selection of tips that have different barrel plugs sizes.
The tips can be inserted into the cable socket either way around, so that they can have either a centre-positive output, or a centre-negative output, to suit your device.
Most devices, but not all, use centre-positive. You'll need to check your device for a plug polarity symbol, like this one below.
How to set the polarity of the plug tip
There are moulded arrows on the plugpack's tips, and on the socket at the end of the cable.

If you plug them together with the highlighted arrows pointing to each other on the same side of the connection, the plug will have centre-positive polarity.
If you plug them together with the arrows on opposite sides of the connection, the plug will have centre-negative polarity.
