The AR1731 Universal Remote is an ideal replacement for lost or broken aircon remotes. You can check if your brand of aircon is supported by looking at the list of brands in the manual before you buy it. For listed brands, you just type in codes on the remote until you find one that turns on your aircon.
Try the methods below - the first one usually works the best for most people. Once you find a working code, we recommend you write it down somewhere.
Pairing your aircon by typing code numbers in the remote
- Find your brand in the manual
- Note the 4-digit code numbers that your brand has
- Slide down the cover on the remote to expose the keys
- Short-press the Select button - the numbers on the bottom of the LCD will flash
- Use the keypad to type in the first 4 code numbers
- Press OK on the bottom right
- Point the remote at the aircon and press the orange Power button
- If the aircon responds, this code works, and you are done
- If the aircon does nothing, try the next code in the manual repeating steps 4 to 7. For example, Brand Aucma, try 0288, 0289, 0290 through to 0296 and then 0462, 1313, 1998.
